Amy and Dennis’s Story:

Wedding Date: June 27, 2014
Color Palette:  White and Silver

How He Asked: Amy gently reminded Dennis that she was ready to get married by singing Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” around their home. One night, Amy was greeted by “Single Ladies” blarring throughout the house with a line of rose petals that read, “Will you Marry Me?” Amy was so excited she hardly remembers what Dennis said – thank goodness he recorded the whole thing for her to watch later!

Favorite Wedding Day Memories: “Looking back and realized everyone had traveled at least SEVEN hours to witness our special day,” recalls Amy and Dennis.

Advice For Future Couples Tying The Knot: “Hire a wedding planner! By fair it was the best money spent,” says Amy. “It truly eased out minds knowing we had someone on the Outer Banks we knew the vendors, knew the locations, and could point us in the right direction.”

Wendy & Grant, Oklahoma City, OK

Wendy and Grant said “I do” at one of my favorite wedding venues on the Outer Banks: the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island! From the grand gazebo ceremony to the reception in the Graveyard of the Atlantic exhibit (also known as the Shark Room!), ColemanShots captured all the moments that showed off their ultimate wedding experience! Aside from the picturesque venue, we love how they incorporated Grant’s profession as a firefighter into some of their photographs. Be prepared to swoon over this duo’s awesome under-the-sea style soiree!
