Elizabeth and Griffith, Philadelphia, PA

With Griffith’s family having spent decades visiting the Outer Banks shores, tying the knot on this ribbon of sand was a simple decision for he and Elizabeth. Their wedding, captured by Julie Dreelin’s Beach Productions, was a sun-drenched, glamorous fete with a classic tent reception that radiated Miami flare – Elizabeth’s hometown.  Guests marveled at the cascading orchid blooms by Bells & Whistles, along with the pop of pink details that filled the decor throughout the Historic Whalehead Club grounds. Without a doubt, Elizabeth and Griffiths’s “I do’s” were the epitome of pure sophistication and elegance.

Chelsea & William, West Virginia

Three words: chandeliers, sunflowers, bulldog – unique details that  we can’t get enough of from Chelsea and William’s Jennette’s Pier wedding! After heading South for their Outer Banks wedding, these two and their families felt right at home in their Village Realty beach house. Crafted with navy hues and bursting sunflower blooms – you’ll fall head-over-heels for this duo’s wedding decor! We simply adore the subtle touches of starfish that adorned the groomsmens’ suits, and the bride’s and bridesmaids’ hair created by Dimensions Hair Salon. Daniel Pullen Photography never ceases to amazes us with their spectacular work and we know you’ll fall in love with these stunning photos! Enjoy!

Weekend Recap: Koru Beach Klub!

You wouldn’t have a clue that gloomy weather that overcame the islands with our Outer Banks Wedding Association members’ sunny attitudes. This past weekend could have left our brides in utter disappear due to the rain, but they certainly made the best out of it to prove why our brides are the best! After all, there is an old wives tale that says rain on your wedding day means your love will last forever.

While the Outer Banks was jam-packed with weddings, we had the opportunity to catch a few behind-the-scenes moments of our members at Koru Beach Klub. Our friends with Kelly’s Restaurant worked hard not only to cater a scrumptious spread, but the wedding cake too! Erin with Koru Beach Klub was a doll to work with and definitely wasn’t afraid of a little heavy lifting when it designing bride’s dream decor. With the assistance of Joe and Remy, they put together a striking bamboo trellis – a lovely complement to the beach.  Congrats to all our members who worked so far to make Christie and TJ’s wedding a success!

Wedding Recap: Hilton Garden Inn Pier House

Our Outer Banks Wedding Association members didn’t let the gloomy weather rain on their parade for this past weekend’s wedding at The Hilton Garden Inn Pier House. Kaitlin and Ben couldn’t have been more smitten with one another, which certainly shows in the moments captured by Outer Banks Productions. Thankfully, the rain held up 15 minutes before their ceremony began and their sweet, beachy “I do’s” went off without a hitch! (Just wait until you see the ceremony floral details designed by Sugar Snap Events – absolutely gorgeous!!) Congratulations to Kaitlin and Ben!
